Hibiscus blooms

Another weekend come and gone, and nary a blossom to be found at our cottage; either they are just budding, or past bloom, save my lime tree, and I guess you all are sick of seeing those from me! So, I opted to share some older photos (last year) of our fancy red hibiscus (actually, I'm not sure just what variety these are, but I did find this great website for future reference!) that grow near our front patio, in perfect view from our dining room window...

Flowers... are a proud assertion that a ray of beauty out values all the utilities of the world. ~Ralph Waldo Emerson

I don't think I could ever get sick of your lime tree. What I would give for one!!! However, the photos you have found for this week's Today's Flowers are super. Thank you so much for sharing them.
