Anticipation

While I see big azalea blooms all over the neighborhood, *mine* are still just budding; Currently, we only have this one little bush in the front of the house...I think I'd like to plant four more there, to make a naturalized barrier from the road. Azaleas are of the rhododendron species and prefer a slightly acidic soil.

One of the most delightful things about a garden is the anticipation it provides. ~ W.E. Johns

They are beautiful flowers!! And I know what you mean about wanting a barrier separating the house from the road. In my case, I use peonies.
